How I can help

Food, weight and motivation

For when you know exactly what to eat, and knowing has never been the problem.

Can holistic therapy help with food & weight?

Rapid Transformational Therapy approaches weight and eating by looking at the reason behind the habit rather than the willpower to break it. In one two-hour session with Renate Wimborne, in Morecambe or online by Zoom, you look at what food has been doing for you and work on changing it, supported by a 21-day recording.

Struggling with your weight? Tried more diets than you can count? Help is available.

The bit diets leave out

Almost everyone who comes to me about food already knows what they should be eating. They could recite it. Knowing was never the problem.

What is actually going on is usually a habit that made complete sense once: food as comfort, as reward, as the only reliably pleasant thing in a difficult week, as a way of pushing a feeling back down. Sometimes it is protection. Sometimes it started so early there is no memory of a time before it.

Willpower asks you to fight that every day, forever. Rapid Transformational Therapy asks what it is for instead, and whether it is still needed.

What the session covers

We look at what food has been doing for you, when the pattern began, and what you decided about yourself around that time. Then we work on changing it, and I record a personalised audio you listen to daily for 21 days.

Many of my clients describe feeling genuinely motivated after RTT, and finding healthy eating and movement easier than they expected. Angela’s return to the weight training she had loved began this way. But everyone responds differently, and I will not promise you a number on a scale.

What this is not

I am not a dietitian and I do not sell plans, shakes or supplements. If you have a diagnosed eating disorder, please speak to your GP. That needs specialist medical support, and I would tell you so on the call rather than take a booking.

Start with a free call

The 20-minute discovery call is free. Tell me what the pattern looks like and I will say honestly whether I think this would help.

  • “After my 1st Access Bars session, I had real clarity. I felt like I had more lightness in my life. Renate is such a warm, compassionate, non-judgemental person who helped me to pick up on issues that no longer served me, so I could release them. I would highly recommend a treatment with Renate.”

Questions

Questions people ask

Is this a diet or an eating plan?

No. Renate is a holistic therapist, not a dietitian, and she does not sell meal plans, supplements or shakes. The work is on why the pattern is there. If you want nutritional advice, your GP or a registered dietitian is the right place for it.

I have tried every diet. Why would this be different?

Because diets work on behaviour and this works on the reason underneath it. Most people who come to Renate know exactly what they should be eating. Knowing was never the difficulty. That said, no therapy can guarantee a result, and what you get out of RTT depends partly on listening to your recording daily.

Can you help with emotional eating and cravings?

That is much of what this work is. Eating for comfort, for reward or to push a feeling down is a habit that made sense at some point. RTT looks for where it started; tapping gives you something practical to reach for when a craving arrives.

Let's talk. What can I help you with?

The first call lasts twenty minutes and it is free. You can say as much or as little as you like about what is going on, and ask me anything you want to.
